Kylemore Communities’ Langstaff Gateway condo project is located at Bayview Ave and Langstaff Rd in Markham, Ontario. Langstaff Gateway will be a vast new live-work-play master-planned complex developed by Peter Calthorpe of California, a famous Smart Growth planner. Langstaff Gateway, according to Peter, is the best-served public transit site in North America. This ecologically friendly element is only one example of how new urbanism principles are utilised in this cutting-edge neighbourhood. Residential, commercial, and retail structures will be incorporated within walking distance, according to the concept. The convergence of four higher-order transit modes: GO Transit, Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) Subway, 407 Express Toll Route (Highway 407), and Highway 7 makes Langstaff Doorway the physical gateway to destinations in all directions.
